Position Overview
Full-time/Part-time Medical Front Desk Representative needed at Complete Care Clinic. Complete Care Clinic is a premier healthcare facility dedicated to exceptional patient care for a diverse population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Located in a modern, advanced medical center offering comprehensive services, this role is pivotal in delivering outstanding administrative and patient support.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Register patients by accurately collecting and verifying personal and insurance information.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
- Answer incoming calls and address inquiries by providing accurate and helpful information.
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and verify insurance coverage with necessary authorizations.
- Collect co-payments, process patient payments accurately, and maintain electronic medical records (EMRs).
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and organizing documents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Front Desk Representative or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and coding procedures.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively resolve conflicts.
