Position Overview

Full-time/Part-time Medical Front Desk Representative needed at Complete Care Clinic. Complete Care Clinic is a premier healthcare facility dedicated to exceptional patient care for a diverse population, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Located in a modern, advanced medical center offering comprehensive services, this role is pivotal in delivering outstanding administrative and patient support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Register patients by accurately collecting and verifying personal and insurance information.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
  • Answer incoming calls and address inquiries by providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers and verify insurance coverage with necessary authorizations.
  • Collect co-payments, process patient payments accurately, and maintain electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, faxing, and organizing documents.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical office administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Representative or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on exceptional customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance billing, and coding procedures.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively resolve conflicts.
