Job Description

Position Overview

The IonTuition Customer Service Associate is a fully-remote role focused on providing best-in-class support for students and alumni across various lines of business including Student Enrollment Management, Alumni Placement Verification Services, and Student Loan Counseling. You will handle both inbound and outbound customer calls, utilize multiple communication channels, and work within a team driven by employee-focused values.

This position offers flexible shifts, multiple remote locations (FL, IL, IN, MO, SC, VA), and the opportunity to grow in an employee-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet outbound and inbound telephone call productivity needs
  • Utilize telephones, email, chat, and text communication with customers
  • Provide timely and professional responses to all written communications
  • Properly use the CRM system for technical inquiries and follow-ups
  • Follow policies and procedures regarding escalations
  • Update records with current demographic and contact information
  • Comprehend training material and share new concepts
  • Adhere to all federal and state laws and company policies
  • Achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monthly performance goals

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Passion for helping people and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with internal motivation and troubleshooting skills for basic technical issues
