Position Overview

Join Fastenal as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at 11205 E Pine St, Tulsa, OK 74116. Embark on a dynamic journey where you’ll manage branch inventory, administer procurement and quoting operations, and support various customer supply chain needs. Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm | Hours: 10 - 28 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing branch inventory levels
  • Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
  • Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
  • Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
  • Supporting accounts receivable activities
  • Making deliveries with a company vehicle when necessary
  • Performing additional duties to ensure branch success

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a current, full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle
  • Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have relevant customer service/industry experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
  • Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
  • Excellent organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
  • Proven problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
  • Demonstration of core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
  • Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25-50 lbs, with occasional weights up to 75 lbs
  • Successful completion of a drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
  • Pass a background check and a sex offender registry check as required by a customer/contract
