Position Overview
Join Fastenal as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate at 11205 E Pine St, Tulsa, OK 74116. Embark on a dynamic journey where you’ll manage branch inventory, administer procurement and quoting operations, and support various customer supply chain needs. Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm | Hours: 10 - 28 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Managing branch inventory levels
- Administering procurement functions including purchase orders and backorder management
- Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
- Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
- Supporting accounts receivable activities
- Making deliveries with a company vehicle when necessary
- Performing additional duties to ensure branch success
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a current, full valid driver's license and meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle
- Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field OR have relevant customer service/industry experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
- Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
- Excellent organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
- Proven problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision making skills
- Demonstration of core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
- Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25-50 lbs, with occasional weights up to 75 lbs
- Successful completion of a drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam)
- Pass a background check and a sex offender registry check as required by a customer/contract
