Job Description
Position Overview
Join E. & J. Gallo Winery as a dynamic leader responsible for setting the vision and driving the success of our spirit brands. You will blend strategic brand stewardship with hands-on leadership, managing integrated marketing planning, creative strategy, and an A&P budget while fostering collaboration across teams to deliver exceptional consumer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and drive the strategic vision for our spirit brands to ensure growth and market leadership.
- Oversee the Integrated Marketing Planning Process, managing creative and communication strategies.
- Own and optimize the A&P budget while ensuring efficient channel effectiveness.
- Collaborate with winemaking teams, agency partners, and cross-functional departments.
- Foster an inclusive environment and mentor staff to build a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience (communications, finance, marketing, operations, supply chain, process development, new product development, project management, process engineering, or sales) with increasing levels of responsibility; OR a Bachelor's degree plus 8 years; OR equivalent experience as defined by Gallo.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors.
- Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% in-market for job duties and up to an additional 5% for onboarding, training, and meetings.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration degree plus 9 years of Gallo brand marketing experience with increasing responsibility.
- Experience in CPG or alcoholic beverage brand marketing, including multiple Gallo marketing rotations and prior supervisory or managerial roles.
- Proven background in brand marketing, luxury marketing, on-premise spirits, ambassador management, experiential campaign development, tasting room management, and direct-to-consumer sales.
- Experience in training and developing junior level brand marketers to achieve organizational objectives.
- Knowledge of business operations with a foundation in finance and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and database applications; familiarity with tools such as IRI, Brio, and Spectra is a plus.
