Position Overview
Our RN Clinical Educators experience a unique opportunity to employ their clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside of direct patient care. In this per-diem role, you will exclusively focus on training and educating Registered Nurses and Physicians on new IV catheter technologies and syringes while collaborating with healthcare professionals. There are no bedside care or sales responsibilities, allowing you to expand your talents in clinical education while working with a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Train and educate Registered Nurses and Physicians on new IV catheter technologies and syringes.
- Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians, and hospital staff.
- Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience.
- Utilize your clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns regarding the medical device.
- Provide updates, reports, and valuable feedback during and after in-service assignments.
- Travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active and Unrestricted RN license (if applicable).
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Flexibility to accommodate per-diem assignments (typically 1-2 assignments per month, 3-5 days each).
- Compliance with client requirements, including full vaccination for on-site services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with clinical experience is preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior experience with IV catheters, needles, and syringe technology products.
- Experience working in an immunization clinic.
- Leadership experience (manager, educator, preceptor) is a plus.
