Job Description
Position Overview
The role of a Business Analyst, Informatics (BA) atCOEUS Solutionsis to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT or other functional teams. You will help organizations improve processes, systems, and operations by analyzing and defining requirements and proposing effective solutions. In this role, you play a crucial part in bridging the gap between business needs and technical capabilities, ensuring projects align with overall objectives and deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as primary liaison between pharmaceutical industry clients and internal technical teams
- Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and document business requirements (BRD)
- Provide project management support
- Create technical documentation, e.g., integration specifications, data interface agreements/data dictionaries, process flow diagrams, data manifests, SOPs, etc.
- Provide client support by scheduling meetings, addressing questions/concerns, managing JIRA tickets, assisting with data investigations and analysis, and providing consulting services
- Conduct data profiling and preliminary analysis of new data sources
- Assist project managers and solution architects with task management, prioritization, and review of completed work
- Help define and recommend data quality checks and rules for new sources
- Support testing responsibilities from a business-user perspective
- Capture and present lessons learned from each project to suggest improvements in approach, project planning, and overall optimization
Required Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical domain knowledge, especially in sales operations and market access
- Understanding of pharmaceutical data sources, vendors, and industry identifiers
- Experience with MDM systems, data warehouses, cloud storage, data pipelines, CRM systems, and BI practices and tools
- Basic data analysis skills
- Basic understanding of DevOps
- Familiarity with Agile Project Management practices (Agile, JIRA, Kanban, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic SQL skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
- Comfortable working in databases
