Job Description

Position Overview

The Sales Representative role at Wurth Louis and Company is responsible for developing sales of company products through on‐site customer visits and effective relationship building. The candidate will implement an annual territory business plan, manage customer inquiries via phone and in person, and utilize the SalesForce CRM program. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site customer visits with new and existing customers to develop sales.
  • Develop and aggressively work an annual territory business plan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with both new and repeat customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales leads and customer accounts.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers promptly, courteously, and effectively.
  • Process customer inquiries and orders in coordination with the inside sales team.
  • Identify customer product needs and coordinate appropriate products and services.
  • Develop competitive price quotations for customers in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Cross-sell or up-sell products to increase customer purchase amounts.
  • Report to management through all required communication channels.
  • Respond swiftly and courteously to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Effective use of SalesForce CRM is required.
  • Travel within the sales territory to meet prospects and customers.
  • Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings with customers; 95% of the role is in the field.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional sales experience, with reliable transportation, satisfactory MVR, and proof of insurance.
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, customer service focused, excellent communicator, and highly organized.
  • College Degree or equivalent sales experience, with a working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to perform physical activities (climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, etc.) in a safety sensitive position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish speaker (not required but preferred).
  • Woodworking experience and/or industry knowledge.
  • Familiarity with SalesForce CRM and related sales technologies.
