Position Overview

As the Clinical Applications Specialist Women’s Health Ultrasound, you will drive and execute clinical education training and demonstration strategies. You will facilitate evidence-based practice and support the customer experience and commercial teams from pre-sale through post implementation by providing effective outcome-based education and training solutions. Your efforts will impact our customer’s ability to improve productivity, patient care and quality by optimizing their technical & clinical competencies, image quality, workflow, and protocol management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during pre-sales by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound products and their benefits to drive revenue within the region.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based system training; monitor and report on training outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Women’s Health Ultrasound and clinical liaison to strengthen the sales organization’s clinical capabilities and customer relationships.
  • Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence to the business.
  • Advance new product (NPI) features and clinical techniques by partnering with customers to develop training plans that support product assimilation and ongoing training needs.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations and customer training.
  • Act as a focal point for the team by identifying customer satisfaction issues, assisting with escalations, and managing specialty training requests.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, including key opinion leaders (KOLs), to standardize and optimize protocols and support clinical education initiatives.
  • Embrace and promote a hybrid training delivery mindset.
  • Maintain required pre and post training documentation in line with global guidance.
  • Demonstrate a safety-first and quality mindset by adhering to Quality Management System and EHS policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound technical/clinical experience and ARDMS certification in OB/GYN (preferred: Fetal Echo (FE) registry or RDCS certification).
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, CA or Sacramento County.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (75+%, approximately 4-5 days per week, including overnights and some weekends) via various modes of transportation.
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and process implementation.
  • Proven experience in delivering complex information and tailoring messaging based on the audience.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking, and IT.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: For U.S. based positions, the pay range is $105,840.00–$158,760.00 Annual, with potential performance-based incentive compensation including cash bonuses and/or long term incentives.
