PACKAGING SALES REPRESENTATIVE – Are you an experienced packaging sales professional looking for a new opportunity? Come join our growing team at Crown Packaging Corp. in Austin, Texas. Crown Packaging Corp. is a leading provider of packaging solutions for businesses across North America, delivering the supplies, equipment, and services required by top retailers and manufacturers. As a Packaging Sales Representative, you will work with a diverse product portfolio including tapes, films, adhesives, corrugated materials, foam, bubble, machinery, and safety products to help improve manufacturing operations locally and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Support coverage of assigned accounts and/or geography
- Understand and achieve sales targets and objectives
- Demonstrate products and train customers on product applications
- Sell Industrial Products such as: Tapes, Films, Adhesives, Corrugated materials, Machinery, and Automation Solutions
- Understand customer processes and emphasize selling value versus price
- Collaborate with vendor representatives, adhere to customer specifications, and manage material approvals through joint sales efforts
- Assess customer packaging needs effectively
- Develop strong relationships to influence customers and prospects
- Understand customer business priorities and manufacturing processes
- Utilize solution-based selling skills
- Manage business planning and execution processes
- Track and measure results against the business plan
- Participate in a one week training session at Crown's Corporate office in St. Louis, Missouri
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years selling in the industrial market
- College degree preferred
- Familiarity with industrial products
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proactive in self-development
- Proven sales performer able to meet and exceed yearly sales growth targets
- Strong computer skills
