Position Overview

As an SEO Strategist at Online Optimism, you will serve as a mid-level professional in our Search & Content Department, reporting directly to the Search & Content Director. You will manage 6–10 client accounts with responsibilities divided as 50% SEO management, 30% content marketing, 15% client communication, and 5% continuous process optimization. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee SEO management including keyword research, on-site optimizations, technical SEO, and off-site link building.
• Execute content marketing strategies such as content creation, editing, publishing, and email campaigns.
• Communicate effectively with clients to present strategies and report progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously optimize processes and drive results.
• Leverage AI tools and digital platforms to scale operations responsibly.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of SEO experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing fundamentals.
• Enthusiasm for adapting to the continuously evolving digital landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing SEO campaigns across various industries such as B2B, higher education, manufacturing, home services, or hospitality.
• Proficiency with digital marketing tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
• Previous experience in communicating SEO progress and outcomes to clients.
• Digital marketing certifications or a degree in marketing.
• A portfolio showcasing successful digital marketing campaigns and content creation work.
