We are seeking a Site/Civil Engineer in Las Vegas, NV who will play a key role in planning, designing, and permitting civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential projects, higher education, federal, and other exciting land development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and modification of engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, tests, and aerial photographs to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data for project planning and design.
- Familiarity with current local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
- Perform other job duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT certification; PE certification preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in site/civil design including site planning, grading, storm water management, drainage, and soil erosion control.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
