Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies and processes to optimize inventory operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory levels and analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting and reconciliation.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify potential discrepancies.
  • Manage and maintain inventory valuation and cost accounting systems.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve overall financial performance.
  • Monitor and manage inventory budget and expenses.
  • Create and maintain inventory forecasting models to aid in decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management and apply them to improve processes.
  • Train and develop team members on inventory management processes and procedures.
  • Communicate with vendors and negotiate terms to optimize inventory levels and costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory and financial data.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
