Job Description

Position Overview

As a Support Desk Technician at Fora Financial, you will provide support and guidance to Level I technicians, troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, and collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams. You'll deliver excellent customer service while maintaining detailed records. Compensation: $60,000-$65,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance to Level I support technicians on complex issues
  • Collaborate with IT staff (Support, Infrastructure, DevOps) on projects and daily support tasks
  • Support all Desktops, Laptops, Printers, and peripherals by troubleshooting, instructing co-workers, and communicating policies
  • Troubleshoot, research, and analyze issues to determine the best course for resolution
  • Resolve low-level technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating throughout the resolution process
  • Maintain records of user issues and resolutions in accordance with company policy using the ticketing system
  • Support Helpdesk, IT systems, and other administrative projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in support roles
  • Collaborative team player with mentoring and training skills
  • Solid working knowledge of computer hardware, Office 365, and networks
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create technical documents
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize work
