Position Overview

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £32,916-£45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications)

Contract:

Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term) | Start Date: ASAP/April 2026

Heart of Supply is looking for adaptable, professional Supply Teachers to support our growing list of partner schools across Lincoln.
Whether you are looking for occasional work or a more regular schedule, your role will be tailored to suit your needs.
As a Supply Teacher, you will confidently deliver pre-set lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support pupils with a calm and consistent presence.
Our partner schools range from nurturing primary settings to dynamic secondary environments including specialist SEND provisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-set lessons effectively within a variety of classroom settings.
  • Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment.
  • Support pupils with a calm, clear, and consistent presence.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different year groups and school environments.

Required Qualifications

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience teaching in UK classrooms.
  • Confidence to deliver pre-set lessons and manage the classroom effectively.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills with a calm, clear, and consistent approach.
  • A professional, team-oriented mindset with the ability to support schools on short notice.
  • Adaptability to different year groups and settings while maintaining high teaching standards.
  • At least 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience.
