Job Description
Position Overview
The Finance Data Analyst Sr role within Huntington Finance & Controllership is responsible for analyzing large data sets, automating processes, and collaborating with both technical and operational teams. You will evaluate financial, risk, and segmented data integrity across multiple systems, enhance data management processes, develop KPI metrics, and provide actionable analysis for optimizing revenue, margin, operating expense, and other key financial and operational metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with OFSAA ecosystem stakeholders (Reg Reporting, FTP, Profitability, Cash Flow Engine) to ensure seamless delivery to end consumers.
- Collaborate with technology teams in the development, implementation, testing, documentation, and use of data/calculations for OFSAA processes.
- Create business, functional requirements, and data mapping documents.
- Configure OFSAA FSDF and AAI modules to meet project requirements.
- Analyze large data sets, automate processes in the Finance application space, and build/enhance data management processes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in finance or information technology.
- 3+ years of previous experience working in the Financial Services Industry.
- 3+ years working experience in OFSAA Data Foundation and OFSAA frameworks such as T2Ts, Business Rules.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with OFSAA projects in the banking sector delivering regulatory reporting and/or risk management reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with analytical platforms such as OFSAA or other Risk solutions, BI tools (Tableau, etc.), and database analytic tools.
- Expert level knowledge of SQL.
- 5+ years’ experience in Regulatory/Risk systems.
- Expert in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Knowledge of financial instruments, bank regulation, accounting, valuation techniques, and risk measurement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage across functions and seniority.
- High energy, self-starter with a flexible, pragmatic attitude and desire for continuous progress.
- Coding knowledge in PL/SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
- Understanding of finance business processes, SOX compliance in a publicly traded company, the Record to Report (R2R) cycle, and the management reporting cycle.

- Compensation Range: $77,000 - $154,000 Annual Salary. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and performance, with eligibility for an incentive compensation plan.
