Position Overview

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour. Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. In this role as an Inbound Expert, you will support the General Merchandise team by ensuring products are efficiently sorted, stocked, and presented on the sales floor while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability for General Merchandise categories.
• Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely at all times by adhering to safety policies, best practices, and training requirements.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier operations, order pick-up, and Drive Up while ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting and engaging with guests during daily tasks.
• Perform additional duties as required to support business priorities.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• A welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Effective communication skills and capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and aptitude for following multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while accomplishing multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Physical ability to handle merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds, climbing ladders, and performing cash register operations when needed.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
