Job Description

Position Overview

MWResource, Inc. is a rapidly growing leader in supplying resources to the utility electric power industry. They are seeking Entry Level or Junior Power Systems Engineers to work on SCADA/EMS/DMS projects throughout North America. In these full‐time roles, you will be embedded within customer EMS teams, with a hybrid work model that requires an in‐office presence about two days per week in Philadelphia, PA or Taylor, TX. This is a 12‑month contract opportunity. Candidates with an Electrical Engineering background and a focus on Power Systems are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer EMS teams to support SCADA/EMS/DMS systems.
  • Assist in power system modeling, display building, and power system analysis.
  • Participate in a hybrid work model with in‐office requirements approximately twice per week.
  • Contribute to managing complex systems within a high-tech, high‐demand sector.
  • Support the introduction and growth of new engineering talent in the utility industry.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Note: Corp-to-Corp arrangements are not available.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Electrical Engineering focused on power systems is preferred.
  • Experience with SCADA, power system modeling, display building, and power system analysis software.
  • Prior experience within the utility industry, including power flow studies or EMS work.
