Compensation: $67,655—$95,512 USD
Candidates must be currently based in Atlanta, GA or Gainesville, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Create and manage the annual sales and marketing budget, collaborate with senior management for approval, monitor performance against the budget, analyze deviations, and reforecast projections based on emerging data.
- Market and Profitability Analysis: Analyze market pricing trends and internal customer profitability metrics to develop competitive pricing strategies and identify key success drivers in residential and commercial segments.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Apply advanced analytical techniques such as regression analysis, scenario planning, and segmentation to address complex business challenges.
- Data Analysis and Preparation: Analyze large volumes of customer behavior data to identify trends and opportunities; aggregate, transform, and ensure dataset cleanliness; and manage data from various sources including APIs, databases, CRMs, and marketing platforms.
- Collaboration: Act as an internal consultant by working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to leverage data and shape business strategy.
- Reporting and Monitoring: Develop and maintain reporting frameworks and dashboards to effectively communicate insights and trends for informed decision-making.
- Campaign Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, conduct ROI analysis, and use predictive analytics to optimize campaign performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, or related fields with a proven ability to connect insights to business outcomes.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI; working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for advanced analysis.
- Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in data storytelling and communicating complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Robust business acumen with the ability to think strategically about data insights.
- A proactive mindset with relentless curiosity to explore and solve open-ended business problems.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, marketing attribution, and campaign analytics.
- Industry knowledge in energy, utilities, or competitive service-based markets.
