Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customer needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders via in-person or virtual interactions to increase revenue and market share.
  • Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
  • Prospect for new clients and referral sources using the telephone, direct mail, seminars, client visits, or other local marketing programs as directed by Sales management.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests, determine appropriate products, and refer to the appropriate party when necessary.
  • Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports by the dates determined by Sales management.
  • Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
  • Project a positive image by representing Paychex with professionalism to clients and the community.
  • Travel outside of your geographical territory when required to attend conferences, training sessions, or Zone meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma - Required
  • 7 years of experience in relevant professional sales
  • 5 years of experience in the HCM industry
  • Experience carrying a sales quota
  • CORE HCM provider experience
  • Experience working with mid-size businesses or larger
  • Driver's License - Required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, the compensation range for this position is typically between $75,000 - $250,000. This range includes base pay plus commissions and does not account for other components of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience.
