Electrical Engineer
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Position Overview
The Electrical Engineer will support the development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems with an emphasis on harness design and assembly. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering precise engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize test equipment to verify harness design and assembly.
- Apply knowledge of harness design, fabrication, and installation standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, NASA-STD-8739.4, MSFC-SPEC-494).
- Select appropriate connectors, backshells, wires, and other harness components.
- Implement proper system level electrical grounding through effective wire harness design.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate within a team, maintain proactivity, and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain electrical product details, assembly, and installation designs (e.g., cable routing and geometry, WHIDs, IRMs).
- Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures supporting the design and manufacture of electrical components.
- Develop basic statements of work and analyze functional and physical inputs to ensure a complete integrated design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field.
- 3+ years of experience in a related engineering discipline.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
