Position Overview
EVERFI is an international technology company driving social impact through education, addressing challenging issues from financial wellness to mental health. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will generate sales by researching, engaging, and connecting potential customers to our sales team. You will drive top-of-funnel activity, coordinate with Demand Generation Marketing, schedule a high volume of qualified initial sales meetings, and support the pipeline that ultimately contributes to revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact a high volume of inbound and prospected leads via phone or email to initiate conversations, present EVERFI’s value, and qualify prospects for introductory demonstrations or discovery calls.
- Respond to inquiries generated through advertisements and events.
- Conduct web research to identify market prospects fitting the ideal customer profile and pinpoint relevant internal contacts.
- Stay updated on trends in education technology and EVERFI’s platform to tailor messaging to prospects’ needs.
- Identify prospects’ business needs and confirm EVERFI’s ability to address them with digital learning solutions.
- Collaborate with the Demand Generation team to convert Marketing Qualified Leads into discovery calls.
- Create and enhance personalized email campaigns to generate demand for EVERFI’s products.
- Utilize sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Groove, Salesforce, and Gong to research and engage contacts.
- Maintain outreach records with up-to-date contact information and notes in Salesforce.
- Track and report progress toward monthly and quarterly goals for initial sales meetings and pipeline generation.
- Communicate updates on outreach activity and successes to the Account Executive team.
- Participate in professional development through shadowing, training, and certifications in key sales processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

- Proven collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- A growth mindset with the willingness to seek and apply coaching feedback.
- Eagerness and experience in engaging in a high volume of outbound phone and email activity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or relevant work experience in sales development, fundraising, or events management.
- Experience with SalesForce or other CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools.
