Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience translating electrical design requirements and putting them into a sequence plan/build plan in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Experience with the following software systems: WIRS, WQCS, MES CI, REDARS, IVT, Gold ESP
- ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) or equivalent shop floor issue‑resolution experience working directly with mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understand and navigate engineering drawings and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Ability to perform all listed below responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (preferred).
Insight Global is seeking Electrical Manufacturing Planners to support a large aerospace client in San Antonio, TX (100% onsite). This role focuses on translating electrical designs into executable production build plans while supporting real-time issue resolution on the shop floor.
Daily responsibilities:
- Support ECAT (Electrical Corrective Action Team) by working directly with mechanics to resolve electrical issues during production
- Develop electrical build plans and sequencing to support production execution
- Create and support OSIPs (Out of Sequence Installation Plans) as needed for rework and recovery
- Interpret engineering drawings and BOMs to ensure builds are accurate and producible
- Partner with Design Engineering and manufacturing teams to drive build readiness
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, and quality in a fast-paced environment
- Apply lean principles to improve manufacturing efficiency

Compensation:
This role is on a 6-month contract with pay rate of $50-$58/ hour. Health, dental, vision, and 401k benefits are offered on contract.
