Job Description

Position Overview

Help us take our game to the next level! We’re looking for a creative, digitally savvy teammate who loves crafting great copy and bringing marketing ideas to life. In this Seasonal Digital Marketing Associate role (seasonal, part-time, non-exempt during the 2026 regular season – 30 hours per week, March-October), you will support the Club’s digital marketing and advertising efforts to grow our brand, strengthen fan engagement, drive ticket sales, and meet business objectives. You will also dedicate time to career development with opportunities that have led past Associates to roles within the Mariners, Seattle Kraken, PGA Tour, Philadelphia Union, and Utah Mammoth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project managing digital ad development and deliverables
  • Traffic paid digital assets including messaging, video, graphics, and audio
  • Manage club emails, texts, and Ballpark App communications
  • Collaborate with Major League Baseball for updates to Mariners.com landing pages and edit pages using Forge
  • Write copy for emails, web pages, paid social, texts, TV/radio drops, and advertising campaigns
  • Aid in developing advertising concepts including headlines, copy, and scripts
  • Track digital campaign performance through tagging and reporting
  • Support delivery of TV/radio promotional assets
  • Contribute to large-scale marketing initiatives such as Opening Day, All-Star Voting, special ceremonies, and seasonal campaigns
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service, preferably in professional sports or entertainment
  • Marketing background with experience and understanding of digital advertising, paid social campaigns, and email marketing
  • Proven copywriting ability within a marketing or advertising context (e.g., brand emails, web copy, brochures, blogs, or scripts)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, some holidays, and event nights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to teamwork and professionalism

  • Photoshop knowledge
