Position Overview

We are hiring a Point of Care Solutions Specialist for our Abbott Point of Care (APOC) Division in the San Francisco Bay Area. In this role, you will drive sustainable growth through innovative sales strategies and exceptional customer support while collaborating with a dedicated internal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets through efficient sales cycle and territory management.
- Maintain and grow the sales base in both new and existing accounts.
- Navigate complex sales environments and build strong, long-lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders.
- Develop and execute proactive sales strategies while anticipating potential risks and implementing mitigation plans.
- Complete all administrative tasks (e.g., training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts) promptly and accurately.
- Travel up to 50% within the assigned territory to provide customer-focused service.
- Comply with all applicable EHS policies, procedures, and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of relevant sales experience or 0-3 years with a clinical background (BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, Cardiac Tech, etc.).
- Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and other business locations in the USA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Documented history of being a consistent sales overachiever (e.g., President's Club winner).
- Consistently ranking among the top 20% within the sales group.
- Experience in diagnostics, point of care (POC), lab, or capital equipment sales.
- Established contacts at Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and Hospital Systems within the assigned territory.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce.com).
- Participation in multiple sales training courses (e.g., Challenger, Miller Heiman) with active use of effective sales methodologies.

Compensation
- Base Pay: $66,700.00 - $133,300.00 (may vary by location)
- Travel: Up to 50% of the time, including some regional and overnight travel.
