Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is seeking a Wiring Design and Installation Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) for the Electrical Design organization located in Everett, WA and Renton, WA. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs for advanced Commercial Aircraft – with safety and quality as the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs including cable/wire harness installation and routing throughout the airplane.
- Assist with engineering design disposition on discrepancies by collaborating closely with partners on the factory floor.
- Follow documented processes, specifications, and procedures that ensure safe and quality design and manufacture, including data collection for work statements and supplier technical reviews.
- Work under the general supervision of a lead engineer and expert mentor to enhance technical skills and career growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace, or Material Science is preferred.
- Experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design.
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Knowledge of CATIA V5.
