Job Description

Job Summary:

This position is accountable for the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with physical, motor, and sensory impairments affecting functional mobility and active participation in daily living. Instructs and supervises PT Assistants and Aides in treatments delegated and follows through with required documentation. Assists in the orientation, training, and oversight of student interns and new employees. Participates in professional growth activities intended to develop and improve patient care delivery.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelors Degree In Physical Therapy (required)
  • Doctorate (preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

  • PT - Physical Therapist License - PTBC - Physical Therapy Board of California If licensed eligible, hired as a Physical Therapy Licensed Applicant (PTLA) with licensure secured within a specified timeline. (required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)

Work Experience

  • Minimum six (6) months Pediatric experience (required)

  • Bilingual Skills Desirable
