Position Overview
Selleck Chemicals is a growing bio-tech company based in Houston, Texas that supplies over 120,000 inhibitors used in the study of cell signaling pathways. Operating in the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industry, this entry-level sales position welcomes candidates from all backgrounds – whether you have prior sales experience or are looking to switch careers. You will receive comprehensive training in the sales process, including effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and territory management. Please note that non-US citizen applicants must secure valid work permits prior to applying.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and implement commercial planning strategies.
- Manage an assigned territory covering select universities and research institutes (customer information provided at early stage).
- Conduct daily visits to potential and existing customers and ensure timely remote clock-in/out.
- Prepare offers for customers and conclude contracts.
- Participate in online product and role-related training sessions.
- Prepare, implement, and document regular business performance meetings for the region.
Required Qualifications
- No prior sales experience or life-science background needed – comprehensive training provided.
- High school diploma or higher.
- Result-oriented, structured, and resilient mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational, moderation, and presentation skills.
Benefits & Perks
- Paid time off
- Compensation: $46,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year plus a Monthly bonus of 5% of the monthly sales revenue.
