Position Overview
Join Morgan Stanley as a Private Banking Group, Deposits and Investment Portfolio Finance Analyst. You will be part of the Finance Division reporting to the CFO, supporting the analysis and financial reporting for Deposits and Investment Portfolio. Morgan Stanley is a leading global financial services firm offering investment banking, securities, investment management, and wealth management services with a strong focus on integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
This role is within the Private Banking Group, a key component of Morgan Stanley's comprehensive Wealth Management offering, partnering with financial advisors and private bankers nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis and gathering of key metrics for Deposits and Investment Portfolio.
- Aid in the preparation of monthly & quarterly financial reporting for business reviews.
- Support the quarterly Firm CCARS, full year forecasts, and budget projections.
- Conduct various functions related to the monthly financial close.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product CFOs, Business Units, Treasury, LE Controllers, and Accounting.
- Handle ad hoc requests from senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong aptitude for numbers with a quick grasp of new reporting applications.
- Experience working with large data sets and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable producing presentations for senior management.
- Team-oriented mindset with a desire to work collaboratively.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with high personal standards for quality work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
