Position Overview
Join our Supply Chain team at Helen of Troy and make an immediate impact on our trusted brand: OXO. In this role as Demand Planner, you will be responsible for forecasting and demand planning activities for OXO Sales and Product. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure optimal inventory management and support supply planning. This position is based in New York, NY, and offers a hybrid work schedule (in-office Tuesday through Thursday with remote options on Mondays and Fridays).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and distribute monthly sales/revenue forecasts by region and channel for multiple time horizons.
- Develop regional category, sub-category, and SKU-level unit demand plans that inform decision making and supply planning.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical models, and evaluate results.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
- Maintain the demand planning system and software, ensuring data accuracy and the correctness of product hierarchy.
- Contribute at a leadership level by supporting Sales and Operations Planning processes and team meetings.
- Deliver monthly Regional Sales Forecasts and Demand Plans in an easily understood format.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations Leadership to create and implement inventory allocation strategies to achieve or exceed service level targets.
- Partner with the Inventory Manager to analyze sales orders, supply orders, and on-hand inventory to build Open-to-Sell reports.
- Work with Operations Leadership to implement a replenishment program ensuring products are never out of stock.
- Document processes and procedures while educating staff on best practices.
- Perform demand and supply analytics and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide regular updates on key performance indicators related to inventory, forecasting, and planning to leadership.
- Support company goals and contribute to team morale and development.
- Participate in the successful delivery of company strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, analytics or an equivalent field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain within a consumer goods company.
- Experience with Sales and Operations Planning processes.
- Proven background in inventory planning, demand, and supply planning.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency with MS Office, with strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Oracle and Demantra.

- Base pay range for this role in New York City is $64,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually.
