Junior Estimator - Remote

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate architectural and electrical drawings
• Produce accurate and timely lighting fixture and controls take-offs
• Identify discrepancies in specifications and drawings with the design team
• Request pricing and lead times from manufacturers and sales reps
• Produce comprehensive and timely lighting proposals
• Upon project award, produce timely submittal packages
• Review submittal approvals and update quotes accordingly
• Review lighting changes within drawing bulletins/addendums and update quotes accordingly
• Collaborate with the Sales team on all proposals
• Collaborate with the Project Management team throughout order release

Required Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing construction plans, specifications, and other related construction documents
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word)
• High attention to detail
• Excellent quantitative and analytical math skills
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Positive customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in Lighting Estimating
• Experience with Bluebeam software
