Job Description

Position Overview

The Senior Analyst, SCM Channel Management will be assigned to specific client accounts and will be responsible for using data and inputs from the supply chain team to complete financial and operational analysis and provide recommendations on options that will help define the best path forward to achieve program targets. The role involves keeping track of targets and deadlines to ensure delivery of new or enhanced capabilities on time and on budget under leadership oversight. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial, analytical, problem solving, and basic project management skills and is capable of working cross-functionally with finance and supply chain stakeholders. A strong sense of curiosity and the ability to question existing processes are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and validate complex financial models in Excel to inform business decision making.
  • Interpret and understand financial models developed by others to communicate downstream business impacts.
  • Provide inputs into pricing exercises using data from multiple sources and dashboards.
  • Create compelling presentation materials and commentary to explain financial findings, business cases, and monthly results.
  • Monitor and explain changes in program KPIs by working closely with supply chain teams to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Document supply chain processes and guiding principles to identify gaps and potential savings initiatives.
  • Coordinate the flow of information for weekly and monthly dashboarding, presentations, and standard forums such as the Monthly Business Review.
  • Act as a key liaison between supply chain, finance, and program management, ensuring that financial projections and business cases remain aligned.
  • Investigate issues by identifying root causes and collaborating with teams to implement sustainable process fixes.
  • Assist with project management by collecting status updates, organizing project timelines, deliverables, and owner responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Project Management (or equivalent cross-functional exposure with financial/project management elements).
  • Experience in financial Excel modeling, particularly in operations FP&A.
  • Strong systems aptitude and ability to develop complex formulas and perform detailed calculations.
  • Proven experience with analytical scenario analysis using complex data sets and in creating reports, dashboards, and financial records.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all management levels.
  • Self-directed with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced, performance-based environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple overlapping deadlines.
  • Note: This role is primarily based in the Nashville area. The ability to be in the office at least 3 days per week is required.
