As a Mechanical Engineer I in our Baltimore office, you will help deliver energy-efficient building solutions, contribute to greener, more sustainable outcomes, and grow your expertise through mentorship and collaborative project work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations and determine system sizing and layouts
• Calculate equipment sizes, select appropriate equipment, and complete field surveys
• Review equipment shop drawings to ensure design accuracy
• Collaborate on project teams, write specifications, and participate in client and consultant meetings as you gain experience
• Support construction-phase work and mentor junior designers under experienced engineers

Required Qualifications

• BSME or BSAE from an ABET accredited school
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 and non-academic internship experience
• Strong spoken and written communication skills; excellent organization and time management
• Quick technical comprehension with a client-focused mindset and ability to prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities or student organizations
• EIT certification (having passed the FE exam)
• Internship experience in the MEP consulting engineering field
