At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our Revenue Cycle team and help transform the way we utilize data to improve our processes. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for analytics and a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and databases. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, as well as 3+ years of experience with analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of SQL, scripting languages, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools, and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving data discrepancies. Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data structures, and databases to support analytics initiatives.
- Utilize SQL, scripting languages, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools to analyze data and identify patterns and discrepancies.
- Develop and execute strategies for data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions to operational and financial challenges.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to identify and recommend potential process improvements.
- Monitor data accuracy and integrity to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and document best practices for data governance.
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems.
