AmeriCorps Health Educator (Hybrid)

Position Overview

Apply to be an AmeriCorps Health Educator with Erie Family Health Centers! In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact by empowering community members to take charge of their health, advocate for themselves in the healthcare system, and build lifelong healthy habits. You will serve as a trusted guide, helping people learn about the healthcare services available at Erie and making it easier for them to access the care and support they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach, provide health education, complete screenings, and link patients with needed programs and services both within and outside of Erie.
• Integrate into one of the supportive service teams or serve within one of Erie’s health centers.
• Empower community members by guiding them to take charge of their health and navigate the healthcare system.
• Advocate for the belief that healthcare is a human right and contribute to building healthier communities.

• Eight roles available across different Erie sites – applications must be submitted by Monday, September 22, 2025, to be considered for full-time opportunities; part-time positions may still be available if you miss the deadline.
