Audit or Tax – Entry Level Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking accounting majors graduating in the upcoming school year to join our November 2026 class. In this role, you will work directly with accounting professionals and support accounting, auditing, and tax functions for our diverse client base, setting you on a career path where your potential and professional growth are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client accounting records and financial statements
• Evaluate internal accounting control systems, audit risk, materiality, and compliance with generally accepted auditing standards via inquiry, observation, and review
• Create detailed workpapers that support the accounting procedures performed
• Contribute to larger audit and accounting engagements
• Prepare tax returns and financial statements
• Proofread reports to familiarize yourself with a wide range of documents
• Assume full responsibility on smaller accounting engagements as proficiency increases
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduating college student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Excellent interpersonal and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduates with 150 credits and prior internship experience with a public accounting firm

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: For positions in California, New York City, and Washington, the base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000. Final offer amounts are based on factors such as role, location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
