Account Specialist - Logistics Ops

Position Overview

At Conectiv Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), a global leader in delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions, we are looking for a detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our growing freight brokerage team in Memphis. This role plays a vital part in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently managing freight routing, data integrity, and communication between vendors, carriers, and customers. Key Responsibilities

• Liaise between vendors, carriers, and customers to manage freight routing effectively.
• Manually enter shipments into the transportation system and ensure data integrity for customer billing.
• Assign load numbers and handle the sending/receiving of signed rate confirmations.
• Collaborate closely with Client Managers to guarantee smooth transportation operations and timely shipment updates.
• Develop and foster customer relationships, serving as a customer champion to resolve challenges promptly.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• Strong PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs), and the ability to learn transportation management software (TMS).
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and results orientation.
• Ability to manage challenging customer situations and resolve problems promptly.
• Strong teamwork capabilities paired with the ability to work independently, with initiative and punctuality.
• Adaptability to manage competing demands and change approaches as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in high volume 3rd party logistics, truckload, or freight management.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly preferred.
