Clerk II - 1st Shift

Position Overview

This role operates on a 1st shift schedule (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
• Ensure packaging, routing, and systems work is completed quickly and accurately.
• Participate in and guide your team in executing the Lean warehousing system.
• Follow established procedures to complete tasks efficiently.
• Adhere to safe work practices at all times.
• Engage in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proven experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 75 lbs occasionally, with the physical capacity to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull; must also be able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, and meet visual requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception); tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed.
• 2 years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
