As an AFF Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the mail department by processing customer payments, managing inbound/outbound mail, and supporting overall internal operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for handling customer payments received by mail, ensuring timely and accurate processing into the system of record.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to promptly resolve consumer requests.
  • Sort and distribute interoffice mail to appropriate groups.
  • Complete tasks such as payment processing, customer responses, and debt validation in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and request replenishment of mail and postage supplies as needed.
  • Receive, secure, and log all UPS/FedEx/DHL packages and other mailed items.
  • Prepare written documentation for follow-up or due diligence purposes.
  • Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization, both as part of a team and individually.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Sound judgment and the capacity to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direct guidance.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Openness to coaching and the ability to respond positively to feedback.
  • Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A stable work history.
