Job Description

Position Overview

As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive hotel bookings, brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. You will work closely with agencies and media partners across teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. Your expertise in digital marketing, technology, and analytics will be crucial in optimizing campaign performance and delivering measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall marketing and business objectives. Identify key target audiences, channels, and tactics to maximize brand exposure, customer engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), social media, metasearch, content marketing, display advertising, and out-of-home advertising.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across channels and campaigns. Monitor spending, track ROI, and provide regular reports on campaign performance and budget utilization.
  • Website Management & Development: Collaborate with web developers and the brand agency on the development of the RioLasVegas.com website. Lead in the creation of new web assets, strategies, future tech, and ongoing content management.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization: Work with web development and design teams to ensure the website is optimized for user experience, SEO, and conversion rates. Conduct A/B testing and implement improvements to enhance customer engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize various digital marketing analytics tools to track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage agencies and media partners, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to ensure successful execution of digital marketing initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with property-wide teams within Revenue Management, CRM, Hotel, Food & Beverage, and Casino departments to ensure an effective online presence.
  • Social Media Management: Monitor customer service inquiries on social media platforms, ensuring timely responses and appropriate escalation.
  • Industry Trends: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in digital marketing to identify innovative strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum six years of proven experience in digital marketing, including strategy development, media planning, media buying, and campaign management.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, platforms, and tools (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media advertising, marketing automation, web analytics).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience with analytics tools; familiarity with Microsoft, Tableau, and/or Adobe software is encouraged.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful digital marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex digital marketing concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A creative and strategic mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Social Media Strategy and Management; familiarity with newsfeed algorithm trends and tools.
  • Customer Service Experience.
  • Customer Relationship Management and/or Database Marketing Experience.
