Social Media Marketer

Responsibilities

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content deliverables (original text, images, or video) that build meaningful connections and that encourage users to take action.
• Build and execute social media strategies through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, audience identification, and understanding of client goals.
• Ability to create attractive social media templates based on brand guidelines, client feedback, and current trends using apps such as Canva.
• Create and manage content calendars / syndication schedules for clients.
• Continuously improve results by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
• Generate reports for clients that detail the progress of their campaigns.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven working experience in a social media marketer role.
• Excellent writing, graphic design (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills are a must.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar apps.
• Experience with Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook a must. Proven ability to gain followers and generate engagement on these platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics.
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of online marketing trends and a solid understanding of major marketing channels.
• Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with great multitasking and organizational ability.
• Fluency in English.
• BS in Communications, Digital Marketing, Media Design, or similar.

Experience with Tiktok, Twitter, and Linkedin a plus.

Knowledge of and experience with Social Media Advertising (PPC) a plus.
