Job Description

Bedrock Attachments | Orange County, CA

Bedrock Attachments is a fast-growing supplier of excavator and heavy equipment attachments across the U.S. We are building a next-generation product line focused on performance, reliability, and real jobsite efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and improve excavator attachments (grapples, shears, couplers, tilt systems, etc.)
  • Optimize structures for strength, weight, and durability under real jobsite conditions
  • Work closely with suppliers (primarily overseas) to refine production drawings and QC standards
  • Solve real-world issues: wear, hydraulic routing, tolerance stack-ups, failures
  • Develop new products for the U.S. market (not just copy—improve)
  • Support testing, validation, and iteration

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years experience in construction machinery / attachments / heavy equipment
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Structural design & welding
    • Hydraulics (cylinders, flow, pressure systems)
    • Pins, bushings, tolerances, wear components
  • Hands-on mindset — you’ve seen equipment in the field, not just on screen
  • Experience working with manufacturers (China experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar)

Bonus Points

  • Experience with:
    • Quick couplers / tilt couplers / rotary systems
    • Demolition or scrap handling equipment
    • Understanding of U.S. market requirements (CAT, Deere, Komatsu compatibility)
    • Ability to improve existing designs, not just create new ones

Why Join Bedrock

  • Build products that actually compete in the U.S. market
  • High ownership — your designs go straight to production
  • Fast-moving team (no corporate bureaucracy)
  • Opportunity to shape a product line from the ground up
