AN EXPERIENCED LEADER in Biotech – Pharmaceuticals – and Medical Device development and management is invited to HELP CRACK THE CANCER CODE! In this newly established role, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as a trusted strategic thought-partner to the CEO and senior staff. Adept at systems thinking and data analytics, the COO has previously steered organizations through rapid growth by developing integrative systems and processes. A Servant Leader with experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, nonprofit/INGO or international settings, this professional is passionate about CRACKING THE CANCER CODE and committed to empowering diverse communities.
Please Wake Up! Breast cancer in the US is projected to double by 2030 with 400,000 new cases and 80,000 deaths per year, and nearly 10 million people currently die from cancer globally each year. Imagine innovative wearable technology – a bioreactor bra – that disrupts early tumor proliferation. By developing cellular proliferation disruption bioreactors, we are exploring novel therapeutic strategies to halt or even prevent breast cancer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Strategic Leadership and Collaborative Leadership as a key partner to the CEO and senior management.
- Develop and streamline systems and processes across multiple departments during a period of rapid growth.
- Hire and collaborate with senior professionals to build productive, efficient, and empowering teams.
- Oversee and strategically direct the work of five departments to drive organizational success.
- Champion the mission to CRACK THE CANCER CODE by fostering innovation and impactful therapeutic strategies.
