Key Responsibilities

  • Daily monitoring of components (valves, pumps, connectors, etc.) to detect leaks that could emit hazardous air pollutants
  • Perform and record calibrations on analyzers before use
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers
  • Identify and report changes, new or removed components, and components with missing identification tags during monitoring
  • Identify and report Audio Visual Olfactory (AVO) leaks and Open-Ended Lines (OEL)
  • Support leak repair activities at customer work sites as needed
  • Complete a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) daily
  • Conduct Equipment and Vehicle Inspections as required
  • Finish daily paperwork, including job summaries and component change forms
  • Attend and participate in daily toolbox meetings and scheduled safety sessions
  • Complete all assigned safety and knowledge trainings

Required Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
  • Ability to remain on your feet for 8-10+ hours per day on uneven surfaces while carrying a monitoring backpack (up to 25 lbs) and additional equipment
  • A passion for working outdoors and a commitment to safety in all weather conditions
  • Capability and willingness to climb stairs and ladders to heights up to 300 ft
  • Basic proficiency with hand-held devices coupled with some mechanical aptitude
  • Must have reliable transportation to reach worksites
