Key Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of components (valves, pumps, connectors, etc.) to detect leaks that could emit hazardous air pollutants
- Perform and record calibrations on analyzers before use
- Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on analyzers
- Identify and report changes, new or removed components, and components with missing identification tags during monitoring
- Identify and report Audio Visual Olfactory (AVO) leaks and Open-Ended Lines (OEL)
- Support leak repair activities at customer work sites as needed
- Complete a Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) daily
- Conduct Equipment and Vehicle Inspections as required
- Finish daily paperwork, including job summaries and component change forms
- Attend and participate in daily toolbox meetings and scheduled safety sessions
- Complete all assigned safety and knowledge trainings
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to remain on your feet for 8-10+ hours per day on uneven surfaces while carrying a monitoring backpack (up to 25 lbs) and additional equipment
- A passion for working outdoors and a commitment to safety in all weather conditions
- Capability and willingness to climb stairs and ladders to heights up to 300 ft
- Basic proficiency with hand-held devices coupled with some mechanical aptitude
- Must have reliable transportation to reach worksites
