Service Tech (Kitchen Equipment Repair) - Tucson, Arizona

Position Overview

Tech24 and its subsidiaries are a full-service commercial kitchen equipment repair company headquartered in Greenville, SC with local branches coast to coast. As a Commercial Kitchen and Refrigeration Junior Technician, you will drive a company vehicle to customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. This role requires strong technical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects equipment and related components to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with customers and branch staff regarding repair status to maintain schedules and properly relay any delays.
• Completes service tickets according to procedures.
• Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are available on the vehicle.
• Maintains the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Acts as a company advocate, setting a positive example for less experienced technicians.
• Follows all company policies and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Standard computer skills.
• Possession of industry-standard hand tools.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region.
• Willingness to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for on-call rotations.
• Mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn new techniques.
• EPA Universal certification is a plus.
