Position Overview
As a key member of the Marketing team reporting to the Director of Adoption Marketing, the Marketing Specialist / B2C will plan and execute participant adoption marketing projects. This role is responsible for developing high-impact, just-in-time materials that increase participant adoption rates, ultimately making a difference in the lives of many people. Candidates must be prepared to take on simultaneous challenges in a rewarding, high-urgency, fast-paced environment. Job Class: Exempt
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Adoption Marketing to define strategic participant adoption marketing objectives.
- Develop integrated traditional and digital marketing campaigns based on past performance and target demographic data to increase program enrollments.
- Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to produce impactful content for increased participant engagement.
- Leverage demand generation skills to creatively capture participants’ attention across multiple channels.
- Develop and execute strategies across digital landscapes, including emails, text messages, microsites, and social media marketing.
- Manage adoption direct mail communications in collaboration with the Account Management team and external vendors.
- Create, manage, and update content on both internal and external company microsites.
- Drive the development and management of co-marketing and co-branded participant enrollment materials for clients.
- Collaborate on data reporting with the Director of Adoption Marketing and the Director of Marketing Automation to assess initiative efficacy and make strategic recommendations.
- Write, edit, proofread, and update client-related content in line with the style guide.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure outsourced work remains high quality, cost effective and on brand.
- Oversee participant contact lists, imports, and permissions.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all participant engagement communications.
- Optimize digital and print design for various delivery mediums.
- Manage client and internal demands while balancing competing priorities.
- Conduct competitor research related to participant enrollment efforts.
- Take on a variety of projects as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent follow-up, communication, and project management skills.
- Quick learner with advanced technical, creative, and demand generation skills.
- Superior proofreading skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail and layout consistency.
- Experience working with clients and engaging with a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and a proactive approach in proposing creative ideas.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office Applications and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
- CRM and marketing automation experience.
- Education: BA/BS in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, including 1 to 2 years in the health and benefits industry.
