Position Overview

Journey Business Solutions, Inc. was founded to support and serve small to medium‐sized businesses through a suite of products designed to help clients grow their business. Our mission is to guide our clients on the Journey to success. We are seeking an outside sale, Business Sales Executive in the McAllen area to support our rapid expansion. In this exciting, fast‐paced role, you will manage sales relationships and assist businesses by providing one‐stop shop solutions for store management, inventory, and lending needs.

This full‐time W2 position offers a competitive Compensation package including a base salary plus commission structure with new client upfront commissions, residuals for both new and existing business, and multiple bonus opportunities – with no cap on residual earnings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business.
  • Effectively demonstrate product line.
  • Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas.
  • Attend training sessions, weekly meetings, and team calls.
  • Ensure the CRM is current and updated with detailed notes.
  • Provide after-sales service throughout the merchant relationship.
  • Utilize marketing techniques to drive customers through the “Why Not Local?” branding campaign.
  • Expand sales and leadership skills for continued personal and company growth.
  • Demonstrate a positive track record and build rapport with clients while exceeding goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Business, Sales, or Management degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in outside or B2B sales with proven Software Sales success.
  • Excellent rapport-building skills in both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • High work ethic and strong integrity with a desire to grow, learn, and progress.
  • Self-starter; motivated by growth and income potential, team-focused and results-driven.
