Job Description

Position Overview

Our client, a world-leading Pharmaceutical Company, is currently looking for a HR Manager to join their expanding team. Job Title: HR Manager / Employee Relations / Hybrid Work. Duration: 6 months contract, extendable up to 24 Months. Location: Tampa, FL. Hybrid work: 2-3 days/week Onsite. The role also offers the opportunity to be right‐to‐hire as a permanent employee during or after the contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements and service levels.
  • Ensure timely and compliant handling of all assigned grievance, discipline and policy interpretation requests and provide advice and counsel to ER/LR Specialists.
  • Investigate and prepare responses to EEOC and/or equivalent government agency charges in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.
  • Support collective bargaining agreement negotiations and contract administration.
  • Serve as ER/LR Country Leader (e.g., for Canada and Puerto Rico) or as business segment leader and as Common Ground facilitator.
  • Drive direct interventions with managers and employees on sensitive cases and escalations.
  • Stay current on employment and labor practices; ensure workplace policies are compliant with applicable local laws and advise management of regulatory changes.
  • Develop ER/LR policies for a region or country and attend unemployment hearings at the appropriate government agency.
  • Deliver ER/LR training for ER professionals, BUHR and People Leaders, and lead relevant projects, change initiatives, and communications including stakeholder management.
  • Develop team capability through functional and operational training, environmental scans, and participation in significant workplace events.
  • Interpret and translate business metrics into insights and recommend continuous improvement opportunities for operational processes and procedures.
  • Prepare written reports, communications and other documents supporting assigned work.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
  • Experience Required: A minimum of 6 years progressive HR experience with a concentration in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Generalist functions.
  • Strong leadership skills; operates as a global leader with an understanding and appreciation for regional differences.
  • Proven success in establishing, managing, and empowering a global virtual team.
  • Ability to foster a culture focused on speed, accountability, and continuous improvement while building sustainable, employee-centric processes.
  • Excellent relationship management, coaching, and collaboration skills with leaders at all levels and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in shaping solutions and driving business results with strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Familiarity with Service Center technologies including ticket management, knowledge management, telephony/IVR, and document management.
  • Proficiency in developing and reporting HR analytics to manage performance and support data-driven decisions.
  • Strong understanding of HR Operations and Human Resource Information Systems (e.g. ERP, HRIS, Applicant Management Systems).
  • High results orientation with the ability to motivate teams to achieve high performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual Preferred.
  • Top Three Skills: Time Management, Demonstrated ERLR Knowledge, Ability to effectively manage complex investigations/allegations and documentation.
