Job Description

Position Overview

The Application Services team at Stellarus plays a critical role in enhancing customer and technical collaboration by delivering all application development through a Platform and Technology Product Operation Model. The IT Product Manager, Principal – reporting to the IT Director, Solution & Delivery Lead – is responsible for the development and support of complex technology solutions. In this role, you will interface with IT, business, and vendor partners to influence requirements and design technical solutions optimized for cost, quality, and fit for purpose. This position is specifically planned to lead solutions and delivery related to Member & Group Billing services and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing products that reflect business and user needs.
  • Conduct research to develop a strong understanding of business needs, new technologies, technology trends, and competitors.
  • Drive advanced, complex technical product and business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
  • Invest in product process improvements, utilizing data and organizational strategies to foster and influence change.
  • Advocate for the product team to Senior Leadership and provide consultation to other product managers.
  • Provide technical leadership in designing and implementing large-scale, complex enterprise applications requiring high performance and availability.
  • Stay abreast of Agile/Scrum best practices and trends, with the ability to create, manage, and prioritize the product feature backlog.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Qualifications: Requires mastery level knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Experience Required: Requires at least 4 years of directly related professional experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in a technology capacity.
  • Requires a strong understanding of Agile delivery models and backlog management.
  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred healthcare experience in enrollment and billing & payment services.
  • Desired experience with AI/ML concepts and tools.
