Job Description

Position Overview

Kingspan Insulated Panels North America, a division of the Kingspan Group Plc, is a global leader in sustainable building products. We are seeking an Inventory Control Administrator for our Columbus, OH facility. In this role you will be responsible for the receiving and accurate issuing of consumable materials to customer orders and factory consumables using industry standard material control techniques – including cycle counting, yearly physical inventory, and parts audits – to ensure high inventory accuracy and process integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders on time in full and package for dispatch.
  • Ensure quality of product meets and exceeds customer expectations while maintaining quality records.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through internal audits, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
  • Assist in developing localized policies and procedures for effective production inventory control.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to manage damaged product and ensure removal from inventory.
  • Monitor aged and obsolete inventory by SKU and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Perform root cause analysis for cycle count inaccuracies and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct scheduled steel scrap analysis and participate in performance feedback with team members.
  • Uphold safety and policy standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook and relevant compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in inventory control, supply chain, or operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of materials processes and experience with complex BOM environments.
  • Thorough knowledge of ERP systems, with SAP strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
  • High level of interpersonal skills with strong communication abilities at all levels of management.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
