Position Overview
As the Assistant Manager Brand Comms, you will support the development and implementation of product marketing campaigns for key initiatives and/or categories. In this role, you will work closely with the global/local brand comms team as well as various marketing channels—including retail, newsroom, digital, and creative production—to bring cohesive, multi-channel product and event marketing activations to life. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Comms Lead in developing and executing key initiatives and product campaigns, coordinating the final execution and delivery of communications materials with internal and external agency partners.
- Collaborate with brand experience, trade marketing, agency partners, and other marketing channel teams to guide the creation of multi-channel product and event marketing activations.
- Manage timelines and communication flow among the cross-functional team, ensuring all members are informed of updates and deadlines.
- Maintain an updated status report on all marketing elements with clear action items and deliverables.
- Keep a pulse on trends impacting the target consumer and act as the consumer’s voice within the team.
- Create and maintain presentation materials (PPT, videos, etc.) to support internal/external campaign updates and sell-in meetings.
- Manage product and promo ordering for seeding and category activations.
- Assist the Comms Manager with cross-functional internal and external briefing processes.
- Support the creation of marketing activation recaps to assess communication effectiveness using KPIs and analytics tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in project management, process development, and strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities with conflicting deadlines.
- Deep personal or professional experience in sport and/or fashion/lifestyle categories.
- Demonstrated independent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building relationships at all levels.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- BA in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Minimum two years of marketing-related experience.
- Experience in digital and/or retail marketing is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
